General InformationHope Cemetery Hope cemetery is the largest catholic cemetery of the Ottawa region. With its 25 available hectares, of which only a small portion is used, Hope cemetery offers the complete variety of cemetery services needed by families. In addition to a variety of sizes for land plots, we also offer crypts and niches in the Holy Family mausoleum, a chapel for Christian funerals, and a crematorium for those who choose cremation. We offer granite and bronze monuments, and a variety of urns, vaults and other cemetery products. In the near future, the cemetery will offer niches in its new “garden of the resurrection”, an ensemble of exterior columbaria of perpetual beauty. For unique alternatives, families can acquire a family mausoleum or a family columbarium by contacting our family counsellors.
The choice of a cemetery as a place of burial is an important decision because it will be the permanent home that will honor the memory of our loved ones. When you acquire internment rights in a cemetery for a plot, a niche or a crypt, it is possible to purchase a pre-need arrangement for the cemetery services, assuring final rites and a resting place that respect our tradition of faith. Services include: opening and closing of a grave, niche or crypt, inscription on a monument or marker, cremation fees, use of the chapel and planning of the rite of the christian funeral. Our Pre-need arrangements for cemetery services allow families to have the guarantee of receiving required services when the time comes, at today’s prices. all Pre-need agreements are guaranteed and all monies are deposited in a trust fund managed independently by a trustee. Planning in advance the required services will avoid any further cost and worry for your family. Pre-need agreements can be cancelled and the families will receive the reimbursement of their deposits and the accrued interest, subject to a small cancellation fee.
